Send to MediaPlayer

 

This script will allow you to send media files on another computer into a TriCaster, VMC or Viz Vectar's media player.  For this workflow to operate, you will need to setup a shared folder that both the TriCaster and external system will see with the same driver letter and file paths.  If you have a shared storage solution, like NewTek Remote Storage or other NAS solution, this makes it possible for someone to add clips into the Media Players with a simple option available from the right click menu.

• Added two DDR icons (and the PSD template) that you can assign your workflows.  Make a shortcut of the batch file and place it at your destination, then you can right click on the shortcut and add a new icon.   If you want to make new icons, export a PNG out of Photoshop and use an online converter. Special thanks to Alex Udell for the PSD template.
