Who am I?  What going on here?  Is "Kane's World" just a copy of "Wayne's World"?

 

I'm Kane Peterson, Key Account Sales Engineer for NewTek (yes those 'Toaster' guys).  Back in the Amiga Video Toaster days I worked for an Amiga dealership and the Toaster product is what got me in the industry. Since then I've worked for multiple video resellers before I started working at NewTek in January of 2012.

 

This site is my way of sharing the information that I've written for TriCaster and 3PLAY. I hope it useful to you. I can be found on the NewTek forums for addition discussion.

 

Why Kane's World?

 

Back when Wayne's World came out, a friend of mine used to say "Kane's World, Kane's World, Party Time" quite often. I ended up using the name on my website back in the 90's and have decided bring to back to this site. I do have a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of connection.  The brother of Dana Carvey used to work at NewTek and I work at the company now; so that makes the connection in only 4 degrees.
