NetKey

 

Suite of applications to send a keyboard press over the network, directed into a specific application.  NetKey Server is a Windows application that will receive the commands on the target system.  There are two workflows for sending commands, one for Stream Deck and the other is a TriCaster macro extension.  All applications run on Windows.

The Stream Deck plug-in and TriCaster Macro Extension downloads have PDF documentation on how to use NetKey Server.

• Feedback added to Stream Deck plug-in.  Button will flash green if keypress was sent to target application, and flash red if it failed.

• Feedback added to  TriCaster plug-in.  A message will be displayed in Notification Center if there is an error.  Can set plug-in to display feedback messages on success.

• Must use updated NetKey Server with updated clients.

• Improved NetKey Server ability to give focus to background applications.

• Server uses TCP port 9990 for communication.
